Exhale Operations was founded by Samantha Pillsbury, inspired by her experience of running a small business for four years. She scaled it to six figures in 18 months, all while figuring out systems that allowed her to scale the business while still traveling and enjoying her life.

By her third year in business she realized she enjoyed the operations work more than anything else, but that the nerdy automations, dashboards and templates she loved building were her small business peers least favorite part.

And thus… Exhale was born. We support small business owners who want to build nimble, profitable businesses and still enjoy their life outside of work, by helping them build and run systems to get them back time and mental load.

What happens on the call?

The call is an opportunity for us to discuss the specifics of your situation, what you feel like you need help with and your goals and then for us to talk about whether we’re a good fit to help that. If your situation meets our skill set, we can share more about what a project would look like and what results you can expect. Of course, there’s plenty of opportunity to ask questions. (And should go without saying, this is not a sleazy sales call where I spend the whole time trying to convince you to buy - I have no interest in convincing somebody to work with me who isn’t ready!)


DOES THE CALL COST MONEY? WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

No, this call is completely free - it’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for us to be able to provide a more comprehensive sense of how we might be able to help. You don’t need to prepare anything but the time will be more effective if you have questions ready and perhaps have glanced through your key analytics, to do list, and project management tool (if you have these things) to be fresh in your mind.


What happens after the call?

If you decide to move forward with us, we’ll send across a contract and payment link for you to sign up and then we’ll get you onboarded. We’re typically able to kick off new clients within 1-2 weeks (which means you could be seeing progress within a month from today)!


What if I get on the call and it’s not a good fit? How do I make sure I’m not wasting our time?

The whole point of these calls is to find out if it’s a good fit, so don’t worry about not being 100% sure. We’re here to answer questions and talk through it with you so you come to a decision you’re confident about. The only time someone would truly be wasting our time is if they already know they’re not willing to invest in outside support and are just looking for a way to get free advice… but we seriously doubt that’s you. If we chat through and it’s not a good fit, we can point you in the direction of resources that might be helpful or end the call early - no big deal!
