System Sprint
There's one part of your business held together with manual effort and good memory, and you've been working around it for months. The issue isn't knowing what needs fixing. It's that fixing it properly requires focused time and the right person — neither of which you currently have.
How it works: We diagnose what’s causing the problem, you approve a plan on how to fix it, we build and teach you the new system, with time to refine and customize it to you.
With only 2-3 hours per week from you to review, approve and test, you’ll finish the month with a system that gives you time back and you can trust to deliver.
Bottleneck Breakthrough
It’s not one thing and that’s the problem. Your business has grown past “simple” so fixing one thing opens up Pandora’s box of three other things and you don’t have the time to unwind that web. You’re done with out-of-the-box solutions that don’t work, you need someone to sort out the behind-the-scenes while you keep the lights on.
How it works: Six months gives us plenty of time to figure out where the biggest problems are, update all the interconnected systems and actually get them running for you.
The first two months are when we do all the building, the last four give you office hours style support to handle tweaks, troubleshooting or upgrades. Truly done-with-you.
Fractional COO
You need your brainpower back to focus on actually running the business. Systems would be nice but only if there’s someone else to build and manage them.
How it works: We do an initial assessment so we’re both clear on what areas need updates, management or both. You approve a plan and then we immediately take over what needs fixing, building or running.
Scope is defined based on your unique needs so you get everything you need and nothing you don’t. We work together on an ongoing basis, month-over-month. (3 month minimum commitment)
FAQs
How is this different from hiring a VA or an OBM?

A VA executes tasks inside whatever system already exists. An OBM manages operations but assumes you already have systems worth managing. Exhale builds the systems first and makes sure you understand and can maintain them before we hand anything off. We do the strategy, the build, and the implementation. Many of our clients have already tried a VA or an OBM before they find us. That's not a coincidence.
What if I’m not good with technology?

If a system requires a techy person to maintain it, it's not done. We love technology and believe that automation, software, AI and smart systems can unlock enormous value for small businesses but everything we build is designed so that someone who doesn’t love technology can still use it. We nerd out on the tech so that you don’t have to.
What if I’m still working on building my business?

While we’re obsessed with operations, we’re also queens of prioritization and if you haven’t figured out your offer or gotten to a place with at least somewhat predictable revenue, that should be your priority before hiring us. There might be rare exceptions to this rule so if you’re confident investing in operations will unlock your revenue goals, let’s discuss further.
What if i need to make changes after our engagement?

We pride ourselves on building systems that you feel fully confident using after we handoff. This is also why our Bottleneck Breakthrough involves a training wheels period where we’re still available in office hours style support. In the rare scenario where something is beyond your capacity, we have a former-client only help line to get your questions answered.
How long does it take to see results?

It varies by client and what type of upgrades we’re making but System Sprint clients typically see meaningful time saved by the third week of our engagement. Bottleneck Breakthrough clients usually see feel the first real shift by the end of Month 1 with time saved increasing once all the new systems are functional in Month 3. In Fractional COO engagements, client feel relief starting in week 3 when we start fully taking over tasks for them, with value increasing as we upgrade systems behind the scenes.
What if I'm not sure which offer is right?
